Brief History

Founded in 1994, PT. Adiprima Suraprinta is a leading subsidiary of PT. Jawa Pos Koran, headquartered in Desa Sumengko, Wringinom, Gresik. Initially established to produce newsprint paper, our entire production capacity from Paper Machine 1 (PM 1) was dedicated to supplying Jawa Pos Group media.

In 2002, in response to the rapid expansion of the media industry, we enhanced our production capabilities with the installation of Paper Machine 2 (PM 2). This was followed by the addition of Paper Machine 3 (PM 3) in 2012. Environmental stewardship is at the core of our operations. PT. Adiprima Suraprinta is dedicated to producing paper exclusively from 100% recycled materials, emphasizing our commitment to sustainability and ecological preservation. Our focus on environmentally friendly practices ensures that we contribute positively to the environment while delivering high-quality products.

Since 2017, we have strategically realigned some of our production capacity to address global shifts in printing paper demand. We have converted the entire capacity of PM 1 to produce industrial paper with low grammage. This strategic adjustment allows us to remain competitive and responsive to market needs while upholding our commitment to quality
